We complete Real Estate Agent safety month with this episode. Today we examine the dreadful case of the Beverly Carter kidnaping and murder. Beverly was a real estate agent, mother and wife. She was living and working near Little Rock, Arkansas when she was attacked, abducted and murder by a husband and wife criminal team at a real estate showing. The attack was pre-planned and specifically targeted Beverly because "she was a woman and a rich, real estate agent who works alone."
Arkansas Real Estate Commission, Doyle Yates, joins Dishin' Dirt to discuss the facts of the case, the search for Beverly and the arrest and prosecution of the assailants. Doyle also discusses what real estate agents have learned about safety as well as Arkansas's new agent safety requirements.
